As a child, I got caught up in the game of adorning, dressing, undressing dolls. Today, in my work of enameling glass, as a recurring subject "The Woman", dressed, undressed, frozen in a timeless atmosphere reveals a deep light after several firing at high temperature.

An aesthetic and poetic depth that the viewer tames according to his point of view under natural light and appreciates what the work is.

Julien Ravelomanantsoahas been self-employed as a visual artist for over twenty years.
He imagines, invents, creates and highlights works on glass, mixing different techniques of painting, stamps, fabrics and firing. Each work is unique, it is the result of an encounter or a stolen moment, and reflects both the personality of the models represented and the feelings of the artist.
THE ART
Although the photo gallery of the works produced by Julien Ravelomanantsoa makes it possible to see their features and realize the beauty of the brushstroke, it remains difficult to see their full potential through simple photographs. Indeed, it is a representation of movement, and not a static image.

Thus, the light, the arrangement, the reflections, the background ... mean that the works can have a thousand different representations.

In addition, some works have a base allowing to appreciate the two sides in relief.

A fleeting, timeless moment, different points of view, plays of light and transparency animate the surface of the glass which is my support.
The works in enamelled glass and fired at high temperature invite to have different points of view to discover the furrows and engravings. The color effects of the layers of enamels by transparency, the vibrations of the brushstrokes: shifting to avoid reflection and appreciate the dullness and the states of surfaces, turn the work around and reveal my secrets, my research, my wanderings and my repentations.

Each piece is unique, reflects the personality, history, soul of the models as well as my feelings.
A unique pedestral can be implemented to better appreciate the work of art and enjoy both points of view - front and back - or it can be turned over as desired to temporarily have both views, if the work is hung against the wall.
